MÜNCHEN, GERMANY

The land of poets and thinkers, "Das Land der Dichter und Denker," historically known as Germany is where I'm going to be taking you guys today.Munich is the capital of Bavaria state & is the third largest city in Germany.

It's not just Munich, but the entire Europe's architecture is mind-blowing.The famous Marienplatz was a 10-minute walk from my hotel. It is a famous square centrally located in Munich.

New city hall is a famous tourist spot where you can find Virgin Mary atop the Mariensäule(Marian column at Marienplatz).

To enjoy this view and place, you can grab something to eat or drink in the street cafe opposite to Neues Rathaus New town hall at Marienplatz square named Hacker Pschorr(a brewery in Munich, famous for its Bavarian beer).

P.S. I'm not promoting alcohol.

The best part of staying near Marienplatz was that the grand station was exactly opposite hence I didn't have to worry about taking transport to the metro station. Also, there are a lot of restaurants as you walk towards New town hall.

We still all scream for ice cream :p

There are few souvenir shops and clothing brands as well to shop.Since it was a weekend all the shops were closed except the restaurants.

Monkeys!!

The weird is me!!

If at all you want to get entertained just keep walking and you'll get amazed in every 5 minutes. Some of the examples are here⬇

Couldn't avoid this toddler as he just wanted to play with the pigeons & of course feed them.

Unfortunately, I was not able to visit the BMW Museum.I know it's sad, but there's always 'next time.'

Blame the rain!

However, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Munich, especially to Marienplatz. The walk to this place is genuinely entertaining & the place is very lively.I recommend visiting this place in summers as you can savor the sun.

I've still got one awe-inspiring destination left before we enter the winter. So stay tuned for the next blog.Safe travels!!
